Role: Lead Designer

Linden Homes was an offering by Linden Lab to both existing and new Premium Second Life subscribers to ease them into owning virtual land within Second Life, in addition to reviving Premium membership registrations by providing a value add.

Historically, owning land in SL has been extremely challenging, especially to new users. So when asked to design the interface for this new offering, I wanted to make a simple and intuitive interface that both seasoned Second Life residents and new visitors could navigate through.

On this project I worked closely with the information architecture team to craft the Linden Homes experience. Being the lead designer on this project, I designed everything from the first web landing page to the final confirmation email you received upon completing the process.

The project was a huge success, premium rates have been steadily rising since the launch of Linden Homes.
